Mission
By employing the universal language of art, and in light of scientific, artistic, and cultural developments at both national and international levels, our aim is to cultivate individuals and artists who can bring diverse perspectives to science and art; who are collaborative, participatory, and dedicated; who have internalized an artistic identity; and who are capable of integrating the accumulated knowledge of the past with contemporary opportunities. Through nurturing proactive, versatile, consistent, and research-oriented individuals, we strive to sustain, develop, promote, and represent Turkish art at the highest level.
Vision
Our aim is to become a center of science and art that establishes the necessary infrastructure to educate competent individuals and artists in their fields, and that provides state-of-the-art technical equipment and the highest-quality materials to both faculty members and students. In doing so, we seek to contribute significantly to the advancement of society’s scientific and artistic domains by fostering individuals who integrate knowledge with practice. Emphasizing continuous progress and development rather than stagnation, imitation, or repetition, we support an environment where academic artist-scholars actively engage in research, critical thinking, and production. Through various scientific and artistic activities, the works and research produced are shared with the world, while generations who embrace our mission are prepared for the future.
