Attention for Our Faculty Students Who Wish to Take Summer Courses at Other Universities

Article 4 titled "Enrollment of Balıkesir University Students in Courses at Other Universities" from the Summer School Calendar and Implementation Guide for the 2024-2025 Academic Year, approved by the Senate of Balıkesir University with its decision dated 29.05.2025 and numbered 2025/14-3, and updated with the decision dated 10.06.2025 and numbered 2025/16-10, is provided below.
4) Enrollment of Balıkesir University Students in Courses at Other Universities: Balıkesir University students may also take courses from other state universities. Before taking these courses, students must obtain the approval of their department heads regarding the suitability of the course content and credits.
In accordance with Article 4 of the BAUN 2024-2025 Academic Year Summer School Calendar and Implementation Guide;
The requirements for our Faculty students to take courses at other universities during the Summer School are listed below.
* Fill out and sign a petition for enrolling in courses at another university, and attach the course descriptions of the courses to be taken in the summer school at another university.
* Obtain approval of the petition and course descriptions from the student’s academic advisor and the Department Head regarding the suitability of the courses.
* Submit the approved petition to the Faculty Student Affairs Office.
